Kallas: The war must not spread further
Brussels, February 28 (Hibya) – European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas announced that she will hold an extraordinary Foreign Affairs Council meeting via video conference tomorrow regarding the rapidly evolving events in Iran and the Middle East.

Stating that she is in contact with partners in the Gulf countries, Kallas noted that the Iranian regime’s indiscriminate attacks against its neighbors risk dragging the region into a wider war, and that they condemn this.
Kallas emphasized that it is essential to prevent the war from spreading further and added that the Iranian regime has several options before it.
