Qatar's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Alya Ahmed Saif Al-Thani, met with UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo.

According to a statement by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Al-Thani reaffirmed Qatar's commitment to working closely with the UN and international partners to support international efforts aimed at ensuring global stability.

DiCarlo, meanwhile, reviewed the latest political and humanitarian developments in Afghanistan and ongoing international efforts in this area following her recent visit to Kabul.
