Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis met with Jeong Yeondoo, the Republic of Korea's (ROK) Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs responsible for Strategy and Intelligence, during his visit to Seoul for diplomatic talks.

Minister Cassis expressed his satisfaction with the meeting in Seoul in a statement shared on his social media account. The meeting included comprehensive discussions on bilateral relations between the two countries, regional security issues and prospects for peace on the Korean Peninsula.

Emphasizing that Switzerland attaches great importance to its close cooperation with the Republic of Korea, Minister Cassis reaffirmed his country's commitment to dialogue and the preservation of regional stability.
