Vance: Iran can never possess nuclear weapons
Washington, May 19 (Hibya) - United States Vice President James David Vance warned that Iran obtaining nuclear weapons would trigger a global arms race and pose a major threat to US security.
US Vice President James David Vance made statements regarding Iran’s nuclear program and the possible effects of the situation on global and national security.
Emphasizing that Iran must absolutely be prevented from obtaining nuclear weapons, Vance said, “Iran can never possess nuclear weapons.”
Drawing attention to the global danger such a scenario would create, Vance stated, “Iran would be the first domino to trigger a nuclear arms race across the world.”
Vice President Vance noted that such a situation would also directly affect the United States and concluded his remarks by saying, “This would be a very, very bad situation for the security of our country.”
