Hezbollah: War begins in "new and escalating phase"
Stockholm, October 18 (Hibya) - Hezbollah announced the start of a "new and escalating phase" in its war with Israel in a statement on Telegram on Friday night.
The Iranian-backed militant group said rocket attacks on Israel "will increase day by day". The group also announced plans to use precision-guided robots for the first time.
The statement claimed that 55 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 500 wounded since Israel began ground operations in Lebanon.
Hezbollah's statement on the Telegram app did not mention Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who was killed by the IDF on Wednesday.
