Industrial and real estate stocks active in Egyptian market
Despite the broad selling trend in Egypt's EGX 30 index, strong buying was observed in some stocks.
Alex Mineral Oil shares rose 7.08 percent, making them the day’s top gainer. Qalaa Holdings, which drew attention with high trading volume, gained 4.67 percent, while automotive company GB Auto rose 3.89 percent and real estate giant Emaar Misr increased 2.36 percent.
On the selling side, Orascom Investment, one of the day’s most actively traded stocks, fell 4.27 percent. Juhayna Food Industries, one of the leading companies in the food sector, declined 3.25 percent, while Edita Food dropped 2.43 percent, with both ending the day in negative territory.
