Dar meets Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi
Bishkek, September 1 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Bishkek on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Heads of State meeting.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Bishkek as part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of State meeting.
The meeting focused on strategic cooperation between the two countries. Dar and Wang reaffirmed the all-weather strategic cooperation between Pakistan and China.
The two ministers also discussed issues of mutual interest, including the holding of the 2026 United Nations General Assembly in New York and the ongoing process for the election of the United Nations Secretary-General.
