Zakharova: No infections reported among Russian citizens
Moscow, September 1 (Hibya) - Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova provided information on the outbreaks of diseases in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the health status of Russian citizens.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said they are closely monitoring the epidemiological situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which has been aggravated by the spread of various infectious diseases, including Ebola, and that no cases have so far been detected among Russian citizens.
Noting that they are monitoring the health situation in the DRC, Zakharova said, "We are closely monitoring the epidemiological situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which has worsened due to outbreaks of various infectious diseases, including Ebola."
Commenting on the situation of Russian citizens in relation to the outbreaks, Zakharova said, "According to the Russian Embassy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, no infections have so far been reported among Russian citizens."
