French President Emmanuel Macron extended his wishes for success to the entire education community on the occasion of the opening of the new school year, while emphasizing the country’s core values.
Addressing the education community and families, Macron said, "To our students, our teachers, the entire education community and our families: We wish you a great start to the new school year!"
Macron concluded his message with France’s national motto: "Liberty, equality, fraternity."
